A balance transfer is the process of moving an outstanding credit card balance from another provider to a different credit card. This allows you to consolidate your debt from multiple cards into a single account. Capital on Tap does accept balance transfers.
How to make a balance transfer
To make a balance transfer, you must initiate the process with the other bank or facility. You will need to provide your Capital on Tap card number to the sending bank to complete the transfer.

How long does a balance transfer take?
The time it takes depends on the bank you are sending the transfer from. Once the transfer is received by us, it will be applied to your account within 2 business days.
Is there anything else I should know?
Important: A credit review may be triggered on your account once the balance transfer has been applied.
Do Capital on Tap accept balance transfers?
You can clear your Capital on Tap account balance via balance transfer - this will need to be facilitated through your chosen bank facility. Please note we do not allow transfers from another provider's balance towards your Capital on Tap account via Balance Transfer.
How long does it take to apply a balance transfer to my Capital on Tap account?
Once it reaches us, we'll add it to your account within 2 business days.
