A Business Rewards Credit Builder functions slightly differently from a standard credit card as it's a preload card. This means that you load the funds you want to spend as it has a £0 credit limit. However, it still allows you to earn rewards and build your history with us!

"How do I use a card with a £0 limit? Do I have to pay before I spend?"

Yes, that's exactly right! You are essentially paying before you spend. Since the limit is £0, the card works on a preload basis. You simply transfer funds from your business bank account onto the Business Rewards Credit Builder, and that balance becomes available for you to use. You’ll get 1% cashback on all your spend automatically.

"How do I put money onto the card/preload funds?"

You can load funds onto the card by making a bank transfer from your linked business bank account directly to the card. You'll find the specific transfer details in your online portal.

"When can I get a higher limit? What do I need to do to get approved for a proper credit limit?"

We regularly review accounts, and if your business continues to grow and maintain good standing, we may be able to offer you a higher credit limit in the future. In the meantime, you can still benefit from unlimited 1% rewards.

“How do I get a refund of the money I've preloaded onto the card?”

If you require a refund of any unused preloaded funds, we can certainly process that for you. It needs to be handled manually, so please let us know the exact amount and we will arrange the transfer back to your business bank account.

"Will I have to sign a Personal Guarantee (PG) for this card?"

No, your Business Rewards Credit Builder account does not require a Personal Guarantee (PG). If your limit were to be increased down the line, a PG may be required at that stage, but not at this initial stage.

"What rewards or benefits do I get with this card?"
